High school sailing to Wednesday night sailing is a slight transition. Okay, a huge transition from a 420 to a J/105 but the fact is it presents a whole new challenge where most of the skills and techniques are the same. The range of skill on the boat can be seen but no one is left out. No matter how little or how much they may know. Granted, it doesn\'t hurt to have people who do know their knots rigging the spinnaker, but the same goes for the ones small enough to duck the boom to be adjusting the vang and outhaul going up and down wind. In short, there\'s always something for everyone to do and the team does pull together and help each other. That can be seen above all. With excellent coaching and everyone listening so well there\'s no doubt about making gains. And whatever loss in position is just more fuel for the fire. Everyone listens, coordinates and takes their time to get the job done. And everyone understands that in order to sail as one all must do their part. Team Tsunami will go far.
